Let's take it one step at a time.
Click the Yellow folder in the Taskbar, File (Windows) Explorer.
Go to C:\Users\[username]
Open up OneDrive folder. You should have folders just like under your [username] folder (ie) Pictures, Documents etc.
Open up the OneDrive Pictures folder. Select all the files, and copy and paste or drag and drop them into the [username] Pictures folder.
Do this for any other files you want to restore to you [username] folder, like Documents, Downloads etc
Once you have copied or drag and dropped all of the files tat 'are all over the place'
You can choose to Disable OneDrive automatically syncing and moving your files
