Optional Update still Appearing in Update History despite Uninstalling it

I dont know if this was an issue under Windows 10, but I noticed something strange here.

I generally avoid inistalling these Preview Updates but I nstalled it by accident...

Then I went back and managed to uninstall it then restarted my PC.

I checked under Update History and somehow for a strange reason it still appears under the Update History List marked as Installed.

Correct. WU isn't going to "memory hole" itself because you uninstalled the update. It wouldn't be a history then. You could argue it should list when updates are uninstalled using Settings.

Nothing wrong with that.
Some bits of a cumulative update won't uninstall would be my guess, maybe the security ones or whatever. No doubt you can look up the details with MS.

The real one comes along in 2 weeks or so, so it does not matter, all is good. I never install the previews given the choice.
