My old XM4s had a tad deeper bass than the new XM5s, but that was expected because the new ones are a lot smaller. Not bad bass reproduction though, just a tad more shallow.

Yeah, I'm one of those people who likes a lot of deep bass. The more bone-jarring occurring, the better. Tool just doesn't sound like Tool without deep bass. Neither does Puscifer. I just switched out my Polk audio bar on my computer for a refurbished Bose Soundbar Solo Series II. Only $99 from Bose direct. Great sound. Great deal. It really brings the music to life.

Just bought this for my wife's birthday present on Dec. 27. This will go with the 4-carat emerald cut amethyst with platinum filagree I got her for Christmas.

I really wanted to get her an emerald or ruby for the stone, but I lacked the $32,000 and $36,000 respectively to get either stone! Fortunately, she loves purple as well.

New lighter version of my favorite Winter coat - Fjallraven Nuuk lite. My full weight is fantastic, and I love it, but a bit too warm when out walking for miles in the winter sun here, even with just a breathable tee underneath. . Less than half the fill-weight than the regular Nuuk.

Going to order these sometime soon to delid my 10900k since it is a really good overclocker. I already have the delidiing tool from previous. This should get me from 5.2 GHz all-core to 5.3-5.4 GHz. Have been waiting for the winter weather doldrums for this indoor project.

The liquid metal doesn't go on top of the CPU IHS as depicted below, but replaces the indium solder between the IHS and CPU die, reducing the CPU temperature between 5-15c under load.

Decided to wait until 2024 for an system upgrade.

These IHS replacements for Intel and AMD CPUs are pure-copper DIY kits

The kits look fairly easy to use, and you can even try it out on an old CPU.

That is the deliding tool I have - rockit cool. They don't show you the hard part - removing the Intel solder from the die and polishing the die. Labor intensive, you basically have to dissolve the solder with liquid metal and scrub and scrub it off. I have done it before on a couple of Intel 10th gen CPU.

I spent much of the 80’s listening to these guys. The 80’s produced some great innovative bands/performers. As did every other decade, but life in the 80’s for me was pretty spectacular, I am glad I had a truck full of soundtracks to accompany it. They trigger great memories.

I've been buying so much music, I had to cut myself off. Now awaiting this last CD to come in... Santana Lotus (Complete Edition - 3 x CD)... It's a Sanatana live set done in Osaka Japan in 74. This is import limited edition 3 SACD disc set (normal CD release 2 discs).

It's coming from Japan; should be here by 5 of Dec. I already have the vinyl but want it on CD, and especially that limited edition set.

The vinyl edition contains 3 albums, though it is not the "complete" set. The "complete" set contains material from other musicians where Satana may have taken a break. Anyway, the album itself is really, and if you're a Satana fan, you might look for Lotus.
