I have an external HDD.. I also use it for backups and movies/music. No need for it to be fast.. just reliable.Well, since my really nice SanDisk backup drive got killed by what I believe to be an overpowered USB-C port I'll never use again, I decided to copy @Fabler2 and go with something I could easily swap SSDs from. So, here's what I purchased (with the wife's blessing):

The SK Hynix SSD was on sale with $35.99 being knocked off it. So, I figured I'd go with that. Maybe this one will live longer! These will be here Tuesday.
