Well, to be honest, I had meant to delete them from my registry but forgot. I'd already purchased a set of speakers with a subwoofer a couple of months ago. So, the fault is mine. I don't have the heart to tell her, and I'm not sending them back. I will be using them even if they're the only set I use. I have to go and clean out that registry. I love that she was willing to put in the effort to buy me something I wanted.

Yeah, I remember when you bought them. I'm sure the Logitech will be wonderful. One of her peers from MIT raved about them. She also probably read almost every review there is on them.

They do make great products. I just went for the Klipch to get something a tad bit better. OH and I may be getting them for Erin.

I'm thinking of getting an aux splitter and Bluetooth transmitter and hooking these up as rear speakers. It won't be surround sound, but it will be pretty sweet, I think.

Well, I hooked them up. Because they're Bluetooth, they only run at 16 bit, 44100 Hz, which is CD Quality. Wired connections can run at 32 bit, 192000 Hz. There aren't as many highs, but that's okay. I think I'll hook them up as rear speakers. The bass is better with the Logitech than the Cyber Acoustics I have. The CA have better range in the mids and highs for obvious reasons, though. We're also talking about one mid/high speaker with the Logi speakers and 2 mids and 1 tweeter with the CAs. If I never had the CA speakers, I'd be pleased as punch with the Logis.

I don't care what you buy there's always going to be someone who says you should have done this or that. I even do it to myself :unsure:

At the end of the day be happy with what you actually do have. And if it doesn't work out, there's always the return ;)

@BunnyJ, I almost bought a pair of Klipsch similar to those some years back but went with a more robust speaker with a built-in amp. Regardless they are some nice speakers for a PC.

Oh, they were a gift from my wife, so they'll work out. I was telling Jeff I might put them behind me and have speakers in both front and back of me. It's not the surround sound experience, but it would be nice.

I would like to point out that it dropped from something like $748 to this price while I was thinking about it. That something like fate tempting me. I checked out bank accounts, saw we're not in too bad of financial shape, realized we still both get paid this week, and thought - well, she did say to get it. Let it not be said that I'm an adversarial husband! :D

I can't wait to get it and have free time to install it. I bought God of War but haven't even fired it up yet. It calls for an NVidia RTX 3080 video card (too rich for my blood) and at least a Ryzen 9 3950x, which I don't have, for Ultimate Performance specs. I should be able to get Best Performance specs out of the game. I lack the CPU and the monitor for the 4k playing experience.

Don't know if anyone cares about cell phones but I pre-ordered a Samsung Galaxy S22 to replace my old S9 phone with a 5G phone. Expected in around 25 Feb 22. Went crazy this time and instead of black like every phone I've ever owned I went with green this time lol.
