I bought this:

Now, check out the price. It's supposed to retail for $269. So, I didn't buy it here. Only, I couldn't find it online anywhere except here. BUT! One perk of living in a small town is that people don't usually go for the expensive printers. Office Depot in the next town had it for the true price, so I bought it online for pickup. They didn't have it for delivery. We had one of these, but a recent power outage caused a surge that took it out. I'll be getting a surge protector as well!

I also have a Brother combo printer (MFC-L2700DW) B&W that has served me well since 2014.
I like that it/they have a huge ink cartridge that lasts a long , long time.

I have a Brother HL-L2340 DW printer and I can truthfully say it is the best printer I ever owned. I do wish at times that it could do color.

I also have an HL-2270DW. It's a great printer. I've had it for almost 10 years, and it still runs strong. Every Brother printer I've owned has been great.

It turns out the power surge fried two of the toner cartridges, so it wasn't working. Now I have two. I don't regret the purchase, though. It's a backup.

I have an HL-5250DN for B/W that is a beast, and an AIO MFC-3770CDW for color prints, scans and fax.

I still love my 5250 though, as long in the tooth as it is....

I'm not surprised. I ran into something similar, I had an HP 993 (?) wide format inkjet, and eventually the inks got hard to find and expensive that that thing went out the door, still worked, just too expensive to buy cartridges for.

I've gone all laser now, ink cartridges killed it because of their shrinking RoI.

The 5250 is a great printer. Talk about fast printing! I've been using Brother printers for a little over 20 years now. You can't go wrong with them in my opinion.

I converted from a Ricoh that was also fast, but would not work with Windows 7 - driver worked fine on XP, and I got it to semi-work on Vista, but it broke hard on 7. I could use emulated drivers for both PostScript and PCL, but I lost a lot of custom functionality on that thing.

That's when I went shopping and grabbed the 5250. I wanted both the built-in networking module as well as the built in duplexer. Popped that thing on my network and never had problems - not even with platens or diffuser, or anything. It just worked. And still does lol.

Before I bought my MFC-L2700DW I had a Cannon printer & found out it was using up the color ink even though I was primarily (99%) only printing B&W.
I hate it when they do that.

Bose Frames is better soundwise. But Razer's battery lasts 40% longer.

Maybe I ought to turn to grinding again. I have a Nespresso, but Nestle is continuing it's presencee in Russia (not Nespresso though). The pucks are not cheap either, but convenient.

EDIT: Just saw a March 23 update from Nestle. They have gotten a lot of pushback (including from me). The only thing they are selling to Russia now is medical and baby nutritional items, have stopped any advertising and investments, and even though they expect to not make any profit from Russia, will donate any profit to humanitarian causes. I am OK with them now.
