On the fly though? I'll try it while I still have logi options+ installed.

I actually gave it to my wife. I screwed with it all day. Logi Options+ somehow screws with my corsair keyboard. If I minimize my game and then go back to the game, the keys on my Corsair keyboard stop working. Doesn't happen when I stop Logi Options+ from running.
You can't not have Logi Options+ running or things like scroll wheel wont work.
It's a shame because it feels great to hold.
Also, Logitech Options doesn't recognize my G402 gaming mouse so I have to have both Logi Options+ and Logitech G HUB installed, weird. I'll never understand why Logitech have so many different softwares. Surely they can group everything? I also have to have software for my G35 headset and setpoint for other peripherals

Anyway, my wifes happy 😄

Huh?

I never have Options+ actually running. I have a couple of Logi items that run at startup, like the Agent, the updater, etc., I killed everything running in task manager and my scroll wheel works just fine.

Do you have a mx masters 3s also, John?

I closed the 3 processes running for options+ (which were so hard to close they just kept restarting until I turned the mouse off) and function of the mouse wheel ceased. Tried it again to be sure, again failed to function. Ive not long gotten offline. Redit and elsewhere complain much of the mx 3 mouse wheel. Related of not I don’t know. And apart from that, I believe for me, options+ and iCue clash

Could also be related to my inplace 23H2 upgrade. I have to look into it deeper. But my k95 platinum hates options+ running.

Yep.

In fact, I have my MX Master 3 (connected via BT), and the MX Master 3 for Business and the 3S all connected in Options+.

Windows has a built in mouse driver that also handles scrolling, but even then, when I kill all the Logi Options stuff in task manager, my mice still scroll and hyperscroll.

That might be the factor, then. I use the Bolt dongle fro the 3 for Business and 3S, while the original 3 is not compatible with the Bolt, so I just use BT on it.

Let me see if the original 3 has a charge, I can probably test it.

Oh, if you have you wheel set to do something else, and app specific, that might not work. Because the back button set to go back in Firefox stops working when the Logitech stuff is not running in Task Manager.

I didn't consider that, I just assumed you meant a normal wheel scroll.
