Not sure if this is the right forum, but I have been repeatedly having a problem with Outlook (Classic) since migrating to Windows 11 (now 24H2).
It does not seem to shut down properly when I close it, and cannot be restarted without going into Task Manager and ending the task. Same when I shut down the PC if the task is still running.
This does not happen every time, but enough to be a nuisance.
I have seen quite a few posts elsewhere about this and wonder if anyone else here knows anything about this issue and if it will be fixed?

I am suspecting Microsoft will never fix it, as they probably want to force everyone onto the New Outlook.

Probably caused by add ins.
Check by opening up Outlook classic and lick on File; Options; then Add-ins.

Scroll down to Manage: COM Add-ins button and click on "GO" button.

"Un-click" everything except someting you have added or something you specifically need.

Close down Outlook and restart computer. See if this corrects your problem. Best of Luck.
