Why does my outlook.com email sort my mail into Focused & Other when its not set to do so?

IIRC - it's a folder-based setting.

It only works on Inbox not other folders, but is set separately for the Inbox of each email account.

Are you talking about an email app (Outlook) on your PC or actually online at Outlook.com?

If that is an app, which app is it? Show me a screenshot of the icon you are clicking on to open it, please?

Turn on Focused Inbox, and move items between Focused and Other folders, Includes instructions for new Outlook, classic Outlook, and the web versions of Outlook.
