Solved PC won't stay asleep with new keyboard attached

Could use some help. I recently installed the Durgod wired keyboard which replaced my Logitech MX Master Mechanical wireless keyboard that used the LogiBolt USB receiver. Prior to installing the new Durgod, I was able to wake my PC using the Logitech keyboard. Now, when I enable "Allow this device to wake the computer" for the new keyboard, when I put the PC to sleep, after about 1 or 2 seconds, it immediately wakes up again. I have tried various scenarios between the keyboard and/or mouse but the only way the PC stays asleep is if I enable "wake" on the mouse only, and disable it on the keyboard allowing me to wake the PC only using the mouse.

I might add that device manager shows I have three keyboard HID devices and 3 mouse HID devices. The Logitech mouse also uses a USB Unifying receiver that also supports a wireless keyboard (which I am not using and is turned off)

So, I have a wired keyboard attached to one of the rear USB 3.2 ports, and a wireless mouse connected to one of the front panel USB 2 ports using the Logitech Unifying receiver. The Logitech LogiBolt receiver is NOT plugged into any port.

Yes I do, but it doesn't appear to be actual firmware, just software to control the lighting and key mapping.

Regarding why 3 keyboards shown, I have a wired Logitech keyboard and a wireless logitech mouse with unifying receiver. I do not own and have never owned a wireless keyboard, but device manager still lists a second keyboard. For some reason the presence of the unifying receiver identifies as both mouse and keyboard in device manager even though I have never used a wireless keyboard with it.
I can remove the wireless receiver, connect a wired mouse, and restart and the second keyboard disappears.

Regarding why the Durgod keyboard keeps you computer awake, it may be because your usb 3 host controller properties also has power management set to "allow this device to wake computer." I would try tuning that option off at the USB controller level and leave it on at the keyboard device level to see if it makes any difference in how the computer wakes.

Hi glasskuter, I thought you were on to something but after looking at the controllers none of them even have the option to "wake", only to "power off".

OK then, have you tested by moving the durgod to different ports... front to back .... 3.2 to 2.0? You have to consider, too, it may be specific to that particular KB rather than any power management settings. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I haven't tried that but it was something that I thought of but even if it worked, I don't have any USB2 ports in the back and I don't want to run the cable to the front... but I will try it and if success I'll report back here just in case it may help someone else. Your efforts are appreciated.

Well, I'm presently surprised. I plugged the keyboard into another rear USB 3.2 port and it now works. Go figure. I also tried it in one of my front panel USB 2.0 port and it worked as expected. Thanks glasskuter for the idea.
