Just bought new 17.3 in HP laptop with Windows 11. All popup windows are too small. Hard to read. Chatted with a Microsoft support tech for 45 minutes with no resolution. I had already tried everything he suggested with no results. I gave him control of my laptop but still no good results. Tried scaling but no results. Before this laptop, I had a 15.3 in Dell with Windows 10 and had no problems.
Any help or advise anyone can give I will appreciate.
As stated, right click the desktop, choose Display Settings. Make sure resolution is set to (recommended) scroll down to Scale. if 100% increase it to what is comfortable for you.

What browser are you using? Edge, Chrome, Firefox etc
check to see if you have Zoom enabled. Go to the Settings at the upper right of the toolbar of the browser and select Zoom and reduce the zoom and adjust for what works for that browser and use Scaling to make everything else larger
A lot of the recent 17" laptops arriving on the market from the "better" manufacturers have 4K screens fitted and are very reliant on specialist drivers to balance the size of screen components if you have a 4K screen you can get a better view whilst you obtain the correct drivers by setting the screen resolution 1920x1080 FHD.
another thing to check is the screen could also be a 16x10 rather than 16x9 ratio and this will also require special drivers in a lot of cases
