As far as I know they cannot accurately predict the quantum states yet, so they cannot build a machine, let alone a fully fledged general purpose computer from that. 20 years and more until they can. I feel like back in the 80's and 90's when we were talking about humanoid robots that would do all our chores, flying cars etc by year 2000. Year 2000 came and it was a huge disappointment discovering that none of them was here yet because the required technology is not mature yet. Even today in 2024 , 24 years later, humanoid robots and flying cars are not common place. So I have learned to "hold a small basket" when I hear too good to be true rumors. There is a Greek saying "when you hear exaggerated rumors about whole fields full of delicious cherries, it is too good to be true, hold a small basket because you will find much fewer cherries than you expect". So we use this expression for every high expectation situation, I believe the equivalent expression in English is "hold your horses". In Greek we say "hold a small basket".
