Received a yahoo terms of service update email today. If anyone is using Yahoo for their emails and has received this, and can translate this into layman's terms, please do, I'm not sure Alan Dershowitz could figure this all out.

Like all the Terms of Service for major corporate entities like Microsoft / Apple / Facebook (META) etc

It probably basically says that you are now the property of the entity and good luck complaining about anything.
It also probably states:

Good luck getting support from us using our never ending loop of service and help pages that lead you back to square one
We take pride in the fact that we can do this and leave you without recourse for any issues you may face. We take pride in the fact that we can do this without any repercussion for our actions.


We are Gods, we answer to nobody. Kneel before Zod!

RD, Thank you. You gave me a good laugh. You give us too much credit if you think we read lengthy TOS docs, let alone understand them. Anyone here (who is not a lawyer or a genius) who claims to understand all that mumbo jumbo is a liar.
I just accept that it means users have no rights and is signing himself over to the devil.

I’ve read both Apple and Meta terms of service from beginning to end. Facebooks was the most evil.

Also, the licence is granted to Facebook each time you log in. I can’t find my notes but basically it states that each time you log in to an account, you are again agreeing to their TOS.

@RD Mercer I have been having issues with Yahoo Mail, Sometimes indicates email in inbox but does not show email and can’t access. Sometimes requires reinstall of app on mobile device or go to yahoo.com on laptop. You or anyone have any thoughts ?

(No problems on iPad)
