@Timmy 2 toes Just an observation and a question. Considering some of the questions you have asked, Is your user account an administrator of the computer or are you a standard user?

Assuming you are an administrator, this should fix your sfc issue. Open regedit
Go to the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Command Processor (I strongly advise that you export this key before making changes)

Under that key delete the string value named "autorun".

You have to open command prompt as admin, and then run the sfc command.

TIP: Don't run SFC directly. Instead, first open a command prompt as Administrator. Then type your SFC command in that window. Why? Because if an error is shown, the window won't just close and go away. By opening the command prompt first, any error displayed will remain and you should be able to get some insight into what is going wrong.
