I tried Multiplicity once and was really impressed. They have a trial period if you wanted to check it out.

This is one of those multiple reasons why I vastly prefer to use the Logitech K800 Wireless Illuminated keyboard. It uses a Logitech Unifying receiver with an accompanying, specially designed USB extension cable, which eliminates the need for Bluetooth and all the various issues commonly associated with Bluetooth. I use this keyboard on my lap so, I have to grab it a lot, and, there simply are no other keyboards that let me do this with ease:

Thanks hdmi, I'm going to try using input director.
My current setup is 2 separate pc, sharing 1 monitor, mouse and keyboard. 1 pc needs to be completely offline.
