I never buy new one without disposing the old. I usually sell my old stuff to recover some cost rather than collecting dust. Sometimes, I just donate or give them to my friends. I feel good about it. :wink:

Yeah, I actually looked at the Klipsch Promedia, but I didn't need that many speakers. And certainly no need/room for a 5.1 setup.

Used to have a 5.1 home theater system that I downgraded to a single Bose Solo 15 Series II. Got tired of messy wiring. But I use it for TV and not for PC. Still using it now. Great bass sound.

No, just what’s said about Bose. Only Bose ever had was QuietComfort Headphones.. Bose does tend to also be very expensive.

I have Bose headphones and a Bose Soundbar with a Bass module. Plenty of bass there. You must have some bad equipment.

That said, I did consider the Bose Companion 5's as my desktop speaker setup, but after hearing them, I gladly passed and ended up with Audioengine's A5+ powered speakers and the Audioengine S8 Sub. I've had them for 9 years now and they're still going strong :-)

I have the Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar and Acoustimass 300 bass module connected to my TV and they sound great. Great bass response from the bass Module as well.
