So does my laptop support Windows 11 or not?


The webpage says that if you are already a member of the insider program then you will be able to install Windows 11 insider test version, no matter what. The installer will not block you.
But they are just getting started, give them time

I am figuring \ hoping the fault is with the insider program site. I think everything will work out.

I do not know if it is very easy to tell in the Link I put in my message above.

On windows 10 under update and security -->windows insider program it says my laptop won't work with windows 11 . But the PC health check app says the laptop will work.

So I am hoping it is just the insider program part of settings not being fully up to speed yet.

I think we both thought it was a web page, not under Windows Settings.

Well, me anyway - I din't pay attnetion that it was the WIndows Settings page. Looking more closely, I can now see that it is.

That is officially supported.

It's weird though that you're seeing that in the Windows Insider tab - neither of my machines (one compatible and one not) say anything about Widows 11.

interesting. Yes I turned insider back on ( I used to have it on for my Microsoft account but turned insider builds off awhile back ) and immediately saw info about windows 11. That was mid afternoon.

Same. I used to be an Insiders freak, but when I built this new rig I stopped dealing with Insiders (well, actually, a few months before, when I started my new job).

I turned it on on both of my machines and neither says a thing about 11. Just odd.
