Some time ago i bought a PCIe Sound Card and after plugging it, alongside with the new Wifi+Bluetooth card i bought with it, it didnt work at all, i installed the drivers and did everithing i knew to fix it, and yet, it didnt work, so, i am bringing the problem to this forum to seek for an answer and solution
the sound card is an Vantec UGT-S220. I am running the latest drivers i could find for this sound card (I tried multiple drivers already)
I tried the 3.5mm Jack as well as the Optical out, none of them work, not a single sound, only static in the 3.5 jack.

You could very well have a defective sound card. If installing the proper drivers and everything else failed, then the card may be defective. If recently purchased, try exchanging it.

what am i supossed to read from there?

If you need a new sound card... maybe the Xonar XE.

Or...

Vantec made it's appearance manufacturing external hard drive enclosures.
I wouldn't exactly buy a sound card from them.

I would probably look at ASUS or Creative, for sound cards.
Personally, I like ASUS, they have great support.
