Stop using the volume control would be one answer but seriously what's the issue you're having?

Well from a production point of view, it is not needed and gets in the way of the currently opened application. I just need it to go away. It stays in that spot and I can not move it.

I control my volume with a sound board so once I set the volume on the computer I don't need that "control" taking up screen space.
