Spellcheck Failure

I'm currently a member of two forums that use Xenforo software and when I'm typing a post I've noticed that the little squiggly line under the word that indicates that the word is misepelled has vainished. I have the Spellcheck extension installed for Chrome which is my default browser. I even spelled words wrong on purpose to test it and it still doesn't work. It used to be that I saw the squiggly line under the word and I only had to right click and correct the spelling. I'm not sure what is going on.

Could it be a built in spellcheck from Xenforo that's on the fritz?

I think that it's interfering with Chrome's spell checker. Turn off Xenforo's and see if Chrome works again.

I think these issues are client side not forum side. I could be wrong but I choose to believe I am not 😛

Maybe @z3r010 could shed some light?

EDIT After a test, I don’t seem to have misspelled words underlined now either. Interesting. Perhaps I am wrong.
Misspelled words highlight, but only if I tap on them (touchscreen), so I would have to know that I have misspelled something.

Just a sec!

I tried it again on the other forum and it works fine now after I uninstalled the Spellcheck extension.

I want to thank you guys for taking the times to help me.

Yeah I have to take back my earlier edit. I just made a new post and it showed again, but I have to edit the post to see mistakes. It’s always been this way for me though, as I use my iPad more and more these days, I figure its IOS issues.

I don’t get it either.

Good to hear. These days, it’s generally the weirdest fix that works.
