Hello, the thing I need help with is not logging into windows at all. I have tried netplwiz, registry hacks, bat files but every time I wake up the system it still shows my lockscreen and a button that says sign in and I get right in with no password but I don't want to have to do anything. Like if my wallpaper is fat girls riding horses, after I restart I wanted to be greeted by that same image without lifting a finger. Thanks in advance for your help.

Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options. You need to set a password before you can see, and set, the 'If you've been away....' option.

Set it to Never, then you can set a blank password again. Although the option has now gone, it's setting remains in place and in effect.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022.
