Support for our most powerful computer - we all have one!

Edit...
I should add for those who live in sunnier climes than the UK, that vitamin D made by the skin when sunlight is strong enough is much better than any vitamin D supplement (and has no risk of overdose)
But a high risk of skin cancer. Stick to the tablets.

All things in moderation, my friend. :-)
Totally agree but you can get caught out. As a student I was working as a steward during the Open Golf Championship in St Andrews (late 1950's). At the end of the week I was ill with sunstroke! Yup - sunstroke in Scotland!
And I have already had half a dozen of the less aggressive skin cancers removed from my scalp. Again exposure to sun during the summers in Scotland.

As a leukaemia sufferer, I am well aware of the dangers of excess UV. However, it has been shown that vitamin D in supplements is less effective than the natural sort. I can only 'boast' the removal of one basal cell carcinoma so far, but I expect there will be others in due course as the leukaemia makes secondary cancers more likely. One thing I am not prepared to do is to let this leukaemia rule my life, and we recently returned from a holiday in Nice where there was a lot of extremely pleasant warm sunshine. We used sun cream of course, and I always wear a hat, but I am sure that after the awful weather in Yorkshire this year, a few hours in the Nice sunshine has set me up very well for the coming winter.

I fear that many of us are paying for our days of youth when we didn't know anything much about the risks of UV or thinning ozone layers etc. and a bronzed body was something to be desired.

John

Probably more the fact that St Andrews University was a well behaved one!
I didn't know what cannabis smelt like until many years later when a policeman came to give a talk to the local school parents and brought some to let us see and smell it!

You have to have a connection for it to sync, other than that, it's completely useable and editable per device, with no connection.
If I've made edits on one device, as soon as I have a connection, all other devices sync.

Were I live there is a lot of areas with either weak or no signal at all. If it wasn't for that, I would do away with my ground line. When I'm at work I find myself having to play Statue of Liberty. When the signal drops I hold my phone up as high as I can and hope that I get a signal.

I wouldn't really need the web for what I would use it for. Although I could try to teach my wife how to use it so if she thinks of anything we forgot she can update the list while I'm shopping.
