You are right, it is better when folders are nicely organized.
The best thing is to give the most appropriate names to the set folders, and in a reasonable quantity (over 50 icons in a folder makes research difficult).

I have a little request to make.
Could you provide me the (grey) diagonal pencil in color ?
(ie: yellow slightly fading into light brown)

Any chance you could do a Win11-style version of the old regedit (registry editor) icon? It's found at (C:\Windows\regedit.exe.)

I'd also like a more Windows 11-style icon for Control Panel than the standard-issue one. Could you do that if you find the time?

Here's a version using the trademark logo color (like the "suitcase icon").
I adjusted the same width as the left logo is always smaller than right ones added.

Hi there.

I've come to this thread in search of an icon for the Component Services tool of the Windows 11 Windows Tools folder, since the icons there have a gigantic status of old age (some of them date since Windows 7).

I've been trying to compose, basing myself on other icons on SHELL32.DLL and IMGRES.DLL files, all of the icons of this folder. After arriving to this thred I didn't hesitate on replacing someones of my authorship by the ones here. So, first thing first: thanks to all who have shared.

However, some of the ones I've made I think are worth to share with you.

New Icons & Updates 15 (Part 1-4)

After an exceedingly long hiatus, the icons finally arrive for the final time. This will be my very last one to go, hope you will love it. (I may have to upload the ZIP file to Google Drive or other mirrors due to file size limits)

I've recreated several icons to match the originals. The Microsoft Rewards icon now has a shiny appearance from the original, along with Bing Image Creator, Bing Chat, Windows Default Preference, and other icons. I recreated the Surface Hub icon used from the original Surface Hub Mail Icon, I also added & recreated Windows 8 Store, Media Player Legacy, Gallery, Fax Cover Page Editor, Pencil (Windows 10), and others. The Casio "Photo Loader" and "Photohands" icons are also recreated from the legacy Casio apps for older Windows versions. The Pocket Camera icon is usually a reference to its credit card-sized camera known as "Casio Exilim EX-S3", the Bing & Microsoft Edge icons now have more file sizes including its monochrome icons. If you've never heard of Casio's Exilim EX-S3, Photohands, or Photo Loader applications, then you may look up to see its info. (I had one at home.) I guess that's it, I guess I won't be able to make other icons while I'm doing irl stuff. That's all we have, thank you & goodbye.

Rectify11 Extra Icons

Here's a list of some of the actual redesigned icons used in Rectify11. I did not use a virtual machine, I used some files found in its source code repository of "Rectify11Installer". Sadly, I can't convert those icon files into PNG files due to some issues with the internet, but it's cool that I've finally found those files. So yes, that is all I have to say.

WinDbg Fluent Icons

I made some custom PNG icons that's from the WinDbg Preview app, I recreated the icons in a style of Windows 11, and I've pre-organized the contents in folders as well. Enjoy!

This thread has recently replied 4 months ago, but I decided to reply today, here it goes...

The creator of Windows 10 and Windows 11 Icons has finally been found, his name is Mike (aka MsyndicateD). He designs icons for Windows 10 and Windows 11 and makes it more consistent than ever. Windows 10 icons were officially designed using Adobe Illustrator, and Windows 11 icons were officially designed using Figma, some icons are only shown on Rectify11. Those 4 icons shown in this blurry screenshot might be very rare, but it wasn't available or shown on Windows 11 or Rectify11, but you all should recreate those icons just to match the originals (if you should).

I think they are the basic Windows 10 icons. This theme might work for you.

Hi, just wanted to inform you about missing Phone Link icon from the package, not sure if it's an oversight or I just can't find it. I'm mentioning it only beccuse it's presented in the very first post, which may imply it's part of a package.

Not wanting to hijack your interesting thread but just suggesting this free program is worth a look at for creating windows icons etc. icoFX. It's a paid version now but the last free version still works on W11 even latest insider builds.

Download IcoFX 1.6.4 for Windows - OldVersion.com

Note though creating icons and links for "Metro" / store type apps is another exercise entirely.

The XBOX controller icon looks almost 100% perfect indeed, based off of a usual gif I found online.

The XBOX controller icon was beveled and shadowed, almost perfectly, which I made for the other icons. But those icons are made with a simple program named Paint.NET, and sometimes made with Paint 3D as well. So, I will make new icons soon till I make more ideas on newer icon projects.

I made an SVG based on your controller icon. I hope that's okay.
