Taskbar clock that operates independently of the system clock

Hello, I'm returning to Windows from about 20 years ago and a lot has changed. One thing I was accustomed to on my Mac was having the day name next to the date numbers on the taskbar. I did Google around and find a (strangely complicated) way to achieve this. However, fairly quickly I realized it was conflicting with my drafting software which draws from the system clock for various functions (It gives me an "invalid date format" warning). So I think I need to leave the system clock alone.
So my question is, is there a 3rd party clock I can have down on the task bar that draws its clock info from the web and not my PC system? This way I could format the date/clock anyway I want and not screw up anything else? Minimally I'd like it to read like this: Mon 3/10/25.

if you use windhawk, you can customize the clock

if you use ExplorerPatcher or StartAllBack you can still use TClock

So just clarifying- If I used Windhawk I could have display Mon 3/10/25 and that's not going to conflict with any software that draws from the system setting and, say, needs the date format to be something like 3/10/25 (without the Mon)?

nope it shouldn't effect anything. if it does, i'd like to know so i can troubleshoot it

what happens if you just set the taskbar to display the Long date instead of Short date? it errors for your programs?

That's right. Specifically Cabinet Vision. In CV's preferences you can change the date to match what you want except they don't have an option with Day (spelled out), only numerical.
