Solved The Windows key + F11 Impr Pant key shortcut stopped working on my computer. How do i fix this?

Does Win + Shift + S open Snipping Tool?

A few more things to try and confirm (I realise it works om the onscreen keyboard)

- Does your laptop have an F-lock key? Make sure the key is OFF or ON depending on which allows the function.

- Another thing to try

1. Check Accessibility Settings:
- Open Windows Settings (Start Menu -> Settings).
- Navigate to Accessibility -> Keyboard.
- Look for the section titled "Use the Print screen key to open Snipping Tool".
- If the slider is OFF, turn it ON.
- If the slider is already ON, try toggling it OFF and then ON again to ensure it's properly saved.
2. Restart Your Computer:
After adjusting the setting, restart your computer to ensure the changes are fully applied.

- Perhaps there is a driver update. You haven’t listed the full model of your Laptop so I can’t help to look

if you press F1 and F2, do the dim and brighten the screen? Or do you neen to hols the Fn down first? Whether you need the Fn key or not is set in Bios. Could you have changed this setting by accident?

Currently:
Win+PrtScrn captures your entire screen(s) and copies it to the Clipboard only,
Win+Shift+S allows a regional capture, and copies it to the Clipboard.

I'm sorry but I'm having trouble understanding where the F11 key comes into play. When I hit the Windows key and Print Screen, it copies both of my screens. When I hit the Windows key + the F11 key + the Print Screen button it does the same thing. When I hit the Windows key + F11 nothing happens. My seasonal allergies have kicked into high gear causing my brain to switch to low gear so I'm stuck at low gear to understand what's going on. I do know that I want to help if I can.

OP's key board is different. As he has tried to explain, his print screen key is also his F11 key. Look at the photo he posted!

It's a Spanish keyboard, and apparently a totally different layout. I wish I could contribute more. but I have no idea how PrtScr got mapped to that key in the first place. :)

With this answer, you just solved my problem. Thank you. I now understand why the Windows key + Impr Pant key (F11) shortcut wasn't working on my physical keyboard. It was simply because the Fn key was enabled, and to get the Windows key + Impr Pant key (F11) shortcut to work, the Fn key must be disabled. Thanks to you, i got this shortcut working again.

My problem is solved. Thank you very much.

This whole problem was simply due to the Fn key being activated, which is why the Windows key + Impr Pant key (F11) shortcut on my physical keyboard didn't work. It's now resolved.

Windows 10, Lenovo desktop], Windows+F11 hides or unhides the taskbar.
