Troubleshooting: File details not showing up when downloading in Winnver 22H2

Winnver 22H2 When I download files I used to get the details on the lower left of the screen 'show in folder etc.... this no longer happens and I have to search for the downloaded file. What have I done wrong?

Hi, Sorry no one has answered your question sooner.
First make sure that the downloads folder is the default location where your downloads are stored AND that your downloads folder is located in it's default location. Then you should be able to go into your browser settings and direct it to put what you download into that folder.

Depending on what browser you use, you should find your answer here..

I have chosen the default Download folder as C:1, but as I have many downloaded files in there I found useful when Chrome Displayed the message "show in folder' but it has stopped doing that so I have to search for the downloaded file

AS you mentioned Chrome and issues showing downloads, etc, try this out.
