Oh, the mess of wires everyone would then see! Cable management is not my forte. There should be a class on it!
I have been eyeballing some cases. It would have to have 5.25 and 3.5 bays, though. If I do that, I might upgrade motherboards. I'm not sure. The MB I have in my system now serves me well. I need to make a decision tree!

No. The cable management comes with the case these days. They provide a space between the mobo and the side panel. Also a power supply basement will help.

That just brought back memories of the headache I got when trying to get to the wires I needed to install my second drive. I'm glad my wife wasn't listening to what I was saying. Not only were they hard to get to, but they were also zip tied to the frame.

Here's the case. I got it because of the accessible bays on the front. I also don't like plugs and buttons on the top of the case since my case rests on my desk.

Instead of creating a new thread, I am just gonna update this one.

I found this 5v smart relay switch at Aliexpress and I thought I would give it a try.
SPOILER ALERT: This project is not meant to make you lazy to lift a finger to turn your PC on and off. This is just one of those fun projects that anyone can do to update their machine with voice integration.

My main purpose is mainly to integrate a smart device into the PCs main power switch for powering on and shutting down via voice command (Alexa and Google Asst.). My PC is currently doing exactly the same except the relay switch is not yet wifi enabled and I have to use a separate smart plug for voice command integration. This Sonoff device can do it all by itself. All that is needed to do is to add a USB-A male plug and wire jumpers to connect to the motherboard. But in my case, I made a y-splitter jumper wires so that I can use both this smart device or the PCs power button whenever I want to. And also, I am going to install this Sonoff device into my daughter's PC.

The Sonoff device has a phone app ((Ewelink app) for Alexa and Google setup. . I think this is self-explanatory.
