Hi All,
I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for trying various search parameters so I'm posting here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a network with a management program which is a large collection of EXEs and DLLs installed on each workstation (win7 & win10), a SQL database on a server, running in a Windows 2012r2 Domain, all with extended patching services. Everything is running fine on the server and workstations except for the Windows 11 workstations when on the domain. Not on the domain, not a problem.
<Set Drama = ON>
The management program generally runs from a Main program but any of the programs (other modules) can be run independently without calling the main module. All programs can be run by the standard (non-admin) users directly without an issue in or out of the domain. When the programs run, the user logs in, everything is OK. It's when the user calls another module from within the program, UAC is activated and requires Admin credentials.
Ex: the user runs the Mgmt Main Module and logs in, then from within the Main module clicks on the scheduler, the Main module launches the scheduler by calling the Mgmt Scheduler Module with parameters (ex: "c:\<fullpath>\mgmtscheduler.exe" -customer 20 -location 2 -user 25), this causes UAC to pop up for non-admin users.
<Set Drama = OFF>
Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
Win286
