Uninstalling Edge

I have worked through 3 different ways of uninstaslling Edge but every time it's still there.

IS there a way?

There is always a way:
Please follow those step by step, take your time and read them twice if needed:
This has been used on many systems on non-store installed versions of Edge.

Command prompt as admin:
C: (hit Enter)
cd\ (hit Enter)
cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application" (hit Enter).
Then type cd (don't enter)
hit the SPACE bar and then the TAB key
and then Enter.
Then type
cd Installer (hit Enter)
execute the command :
setup.exe --uninstall --system-level --verbose-logging --force-uninstall
(hit Enter)

Edge stable is now off your system and your life.
I have not experienced any OS issues with Edge being absent.
For Beta, Dev, Canary, modify the path accordingly.

No I'm aware they don't approve but then I don't approve of them forcing it on me.

What you posted is exactly the same thing I suggested.
It works, I don't have Edge on my machines Dev or Beta but they weren't stored installed.
It also does not affect builds or patches updates.

I uninstalled Edge and I used Revo too.
I also went into C:> Program Files x86 and uninstalled everything in Microsoft folder.
You'll see Edge and Edge update etc. I deleted those.
I used disk cleanup then, and now no Edge.

Oh, I almost forgot. After you delete the folder "Microsoft" with Edge in it, then go to C:>Users>User Name>AppData>Local and delete anything that says "Edge"

How to remove Edge successfully and never have it darken your doorway again.

A. Using the terminal
1. Open Task Manager and scroll down to Microsoft Edge and click End Task. If you omit this step you'll get a message saying that Edge is in use by another process when you try to delete it.

2. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft"

3. Type dir /h to make sure that Edge is the only listed directory there. It should be, but anyway checking is a good idea.

4a. If Edge is the only application listed
Type cd.. and go up a level
Type del /r Microsoft and answer 'Yes'

4b. If there are other directories listed
Type del /r Edge and answer "Yes'

5. Finally go to C:>Users>User Name>AppData>Local and delete anything that says "Edge". Here also it's a good idea to check all of the other possible directories as I don't trust Microsoft to not hide things in other places.

Which is why Microsoft got screwed all those years ago in the EU courts for shoving Internet Explorer compulsorily down every users throat. Unfortunately, they seem to have got around that issue

Try all you like to remove it (successful or otherwise), like many other Windows' inadequately functioning add-ons and/or bloatware that can be removed or disabled (sometimes only temporarily), Microsoft will throw it back in your face after some later update event.

Just worked threough this and restarted but it's still there.

Have you considered risk of deleting Edge. I have seen cases where people did this and their preferred browser failed. These people were caught in a catch 22 i.e. they could not reinstall their preferred browser as they needed it to do so.

So you would have to install some other browser as a backup, or have a backup on a usb drive etc.

Seems to me it is just easier to leave Edge in place. Nobody forces you to use it.

Of course, all the people who say "do this blah blah blah" never take any reponsibilty if something craps out. People have found removing core apps can have unexpected side effect e.g. updates do not work properly afterwards.

There is no real reason to remove Edge really, other than an attitude of user.
