Update KB5035942 keeps updating every day. It is in quality updates this is ok but in other updates it has downloaded there and keeps updating every day how can I stop it.Screenshot (360).pngScreenshot (359).png

See deleting corrupted Windows Update cache will resolve the problem, you can use the attached batch script to do so.

Exactly the same as me. Tried every suggestion and still appears every day. Tried to manually install update but got the not for my system message! So why does it install evey day? I don't think it has actually installed properly at any time.

Which version, the release or the preview? How is it “Previews” are automatically installing? Is there a setting that enables this? I have never had a “preview” install without my interaction.

What happens if you remove the preview version of this update?

Windows Update Troubleshooter - Microsoft Support

I've used this Troubleshooter myself. It isn't guaranteed to fix every problem but may be worth a try.
Also have you run sfc /scannow from the command prompt (with admin rights)?

Nothing changed, still get updated in background without let me know. I can't even uinstall it. Intresting is that when I check windows version it says Windows 23h2 22631.4112 so it seems everything fine so maybe that's just bug I don't know.

have you emptied/deleted the contents of ...

C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder

this is the folder that updates are stored in.
Windows update will rebuild its data base after the folder has been emptied.
its worth a shot.
