Insider Update Stack Package 1023.413.2122.0 for Windows 11 Insiders in Beta


Microsoft has released a new Update Stack Package version 1023.413.2122.0 to Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel.

Through the Update Stack Package, we can deliver improvements to the update experience prior to the PC taking a monthly or Feature Update. The Update Stack Package will help ensure that your PC has the highest likelihood of successfully installing new updates with the best and least disruptive experience available.

Update Stack Packages will be delivered to Insiders through Windows Update just like builds and cumulative updates are. Insiders in the Beta Channel can go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates to receive the Update Stack Package.

Still no stack update in WU. Tried to download the .cab file from UUP dump but get "Can't be downloaded securely" please help!

Also I can't understand why the stack update doesn't show up in WU. I downloaded the latest beta build from WU last night without any issues.

Just downloaded it without any problems with Firefox 112.0.2, you may want to try again!

you can manually extract the cab file contents to this path:

%ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\UUS\Packages\000
change 000 to the correct version 1023.421.6122.0

and add this registry values:

I get a access denied when I try create a new folder in %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\UUS\Packages. I tryed to give me self permission to create a folder in the mapp "Packages" but couldn't do it, the "Add" button is out greyed.

It seems not to be easy to update. Maybe I will wait and see if next version of stack package will be installed, if not then something is wrong in my Windows setup? The latest Stack package I have installed is from April 14th.

Anyway, thanks for helping :)
