That's the hard part.
We have Brink's posts in Windows 11 News, which gives us the KB # or the build number. But neither one easily gets to the UUP Dump page your thingy requires.


Even Googling : KB5014668 - UUP Dump ...doesn't get us to the correct page.

No... I'm just thought I'd mention it. Just trying to help, if possible.


Would it be easier to get the .msu file from MS Update catalog and then convert that to a .cab file?

Like somehow have a GUI that you just type the KB # into, and it goes and finds it for you, then downloads it, in whatever extension you want? You could even SELL that. ^^

I have no idea how that could be done, but that would be super... fly. :)

Nope. the reason this exists is that there is no MSU from MS.. capiche!

Yeah, I understand. I'm just trying to think what I would want if I could have anything.

I think the thing I would want the most is a WAU Manager, that actually works, on Home or Pro.
The one they have now... sort of works.


Don't get me wrong... I'm highly impressed with what you have done already.
I'm not trying to detract in any way, from what you have done here.

You just got me thinking. A highly dangerous thing, actually. :cool:

It was a suggestion.

There are always different ways that can lead to the goal.

With W10UI you could also easily update an image.

I usually do this with Dism and unpack the update package in another way.

Hi, actually I used to unpack msu updates files for windows 10, and apply them offline with Dism (because of special needs). Now I see I can't do the same with windows 11. I unpacked a msu update for windows 11, got files, psf file and among them a file with a name like the psf file, but in wim format, not cab as metionned in some posts here. So I can't rebuilt so to say a proper CAB to apply with DISM offline. Any way to deal with this please? Thank you.
