Video crashing error, I'm at my wits end.

For the last year or so I've been dealing with a video crashing error in which my monitors will turn off, the PC fans will ramp to full speed, but the pc is completely functional otherwise. If I plug my monitors directly into the MB, it's even usable. These crashes are at completely random times, but happen especially when I'm playing video intensive games.

I have replaced every part BUT the PSU and I'm hoping it doesn't come to that.

I have RMA'd my GPU, CPU, Motherboard and ram and at this point am out of options.

WhoCrashed is giving me this bugcheck code: 0x141(0xFFFFA2899B8D8010, 0xFFFFF806956316A0, 0x0, 0xFFFFA289BD23D080)

If there is any way I can give more information, please let me know.

Will do first thing in the morning, but I'm doubtful. I was actually on a different motherboard with the issue first started happening, MSI MPG Z690 Edge WIFI DDR4

You are getting Blue Screen of Death error message.

Not sure thats entirely possible as, when I move the HDMI/ DSP Cable to the motherboard output rather than the GPU output, the PC functions as normal, just with the fans pinned at max speed.

What are your various PC temperatures like?
Between the video-intensive games and the full-speed fans, this sounds like something is badly overheating.
Use any tool you want to monitor your temps on the GPU, the CPU, etc.

This is quite an odd problem. Since you have replaced everything except the power supply, and your system returns back to life as soon as you plug it into the motherboard itself, (I take this to mean windows is still running? The display just blanks out?) that rules out BSOD and other problems.

I am assuming you have the latest video drivers through the nvidia app.

What kind of surge protector or ups (if any) is your computer plugged into? Have you tried just another outlet entirely?

I would do that and see what happens.

Also, try running the superposition benchmark at extreme or max settings and see if the same behavior occurs.

Also when this happens, you can try the video driver reset combo by doing the following:

Win + Ctrl + Shift + B

Darn ASUS TUF, but I would uninstall their vid driver and re-install either an older one if you were using the latest, or the latest if you were not. Classic driver issue. Seen a million of them. I was expecting you to be using Nvidia as past Nvidia drivers did that - even saw it myself on Linux.

If no solution that way, bitch to ASUS (though you won't get a fix) but try limiting what it uses like 4K to 1K or the like. Vid drivers can be very touchy!
