Video Memory Management Internal BSoD Error

Hello,

I've been having BSOD error occur almost once a day for nearly 2 weeks now. Oddy it seems to occur when I enable/disable Bluetooth or connect/disconnect a Bluetooth device. Unsure if it's related. I have updated the GPU drivers and it hasn't fixed itself yet.

Some findings:

All crashes were related to Nvidia GPU.

Multiple crashes had Valorant anti-cheat.

Windows failed fast startup.




1) Run Tuneup plus > post a share link

2) Turn off Windows fast startup:

Turn On or Off Fast Startup in Windows 10




3) Create a new restore point:





4) Uninstall all Valorant / RIOT games and software

League of Legends Riot Games, Inc
Hextech Repair Tool 1.1.176 Riot Games, Inc. 20240709
Riot Vanguard Riot Games, Inc.

etc.



5) Play non-Valorant games for one week



6) For any new BSOD post a new V2 share link into the newest post

Tuneup plus results were excellent.


Please monitor for:

a) unexpected shutdowns and restarts with and without BSOD
b) black screens
c) hangs / freezes

As of writing this post I have faced another BSOD with a VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE error this time. I had uninstalled Riot Vanguard and reinstalled hoping it was a faulty installation but I will be uninstalling it all together and report back.

Please reinstall these drivers:

nvlddmkm nvlddmkm c:\windows\system32\driverstore\filerepository\nvami.inf_amd64_07a5b3dbac82d20b\nvlddmkm.sys

iastorvd Intel(R) Chipset VMD RST Controller service c:\windows\system32\drivers\iastorvd.sys


For the Nvidia GPU select an older version.







If BSOD continue with Nvidia then plan to swap test the GPU card (Nvidia or AMD).

I have reinstalled the drivers using DDU and I have faced yet another BSOD with the TDU_failure error from earlier. Is switching GPU's my only resort now? I have uninsalled Riot Vanguard and any related files as well.

The same Nvidia driver version was reinstalled.

Please test another driver version.


(do not reinstall 32.0.15.7216)


If BSOD reoccur with various driver versions then swap test the GPU card.


An unattractive alternative for game players is to use only Intel GPU.
