This tutorial will show you how to reopen closed tabs from your browsing history in Microsoft Edge for your account in Windows 10 and Windows 11.

1 Open Microsoft Edge.
2 Perform one of the following actions to open the History pane: (see screenshots below)
- Press the Ctrl + H keys.
- Click/tap on the Settings and more (3 dots) button, click/tap on History.
- Click/tap on the History button on the toolbar.
4 You can perform an available action below to copy or open a URL in your browsing history how you want:
- Click/tap on a URL to open it in a new tab in the current window.
- Press the Shift key while click/tap on a URL to open it in a new window.
- Right click on a URL, and click/tap on Open in new tab.
- Right click on a URL, and click/tap on Open in new window.
- Right click on a URL, and click/tap on Open in new InPrivate window.
- Right click on a URL, and click/tap on Copy link.
1 Open Microsoft Edge.
2 Perform one of the following actions to open the History page: (see screenshots below)
- Right click on the Back or Forward arrow to the left of the address bar, and click/tap on Manage History.
- Right click on the History button on the toolbar, and click/tap on Open history page.
- Press the Ctrl + H keys, click/tap on the More options (3 dots) button in the History pane, and click/tap on Open history page.
- Click/tap on the Settings and more (3 dots) button, click/tap on History, click/tap on the More options (3 dots) button in the History pane, and click/tap on Open history page.
- Click/tap on the History button on the toolbar, click/tap on the More options (3 dots) button in the History pane, and click/tap on Open history page.
3 Click/tap on All or Recently closed in the left pane on the History page for which browsing history you want to view. (see screenshots below)
If you do not see a left pane, then either click/tap on the 3 bars menu button towards the top left OR widen the horizontal borders of the Microsoft Edge window until you do.
4 You can perform an available action below to copy or open a URL in your browsing history how you want:
- Click/tap on a URL to open it in the same tab in the current window.
- Press the Ctrl key while click/tap on a URL to open it in a new tab in the current window.
- Press the Shift key while click/tap on a URL to open it in a new window.
- Right click on a URL, and click/tap on Open in new tab.
- Right click on a URL, and click/tap on Open in new window.
- Right click on a URL, and click/tap on Open in new InPrivate window.
- Right click on a URL, and click/tap on Copy link.
