Views on the taskbar

Why in the latest insider compilation I do not have views on the task bar please help

Hello and welcome to the forum. I guess I may be misunderstanding your question. Are you saying you have no icons on the taskbar?
If so using task manager (ctl+alt+del or right click on start button to bring up power user menu and select task manager), restart explorer to see if the task bar repopulates.

For just such cases I made a shortcut on my desktop to restart explorer quickly. To make a shortcut right click on desktop-select new-shortcut.
copy and paste the following into the location box.
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c taskkill /im explorer.exe /f & start explorer.exe
click next and name the shortcut Restart Explorer. OK. You can assign the shortcut a customized icon if you like.
Now you can quickly restart explorer anytime by clicking on the shortcut icon.

If that doesn't work, uninstall any third party app you may be using that alters the GUI and restart.

I think what he means is that upon hovering over taskbar icons there is no popup preview??? Maybe?

That translates to "I don't have widgets in the taskbar" so I'm assuming he lost his widgets.
