W1123H2 update KB5039302 - Rollout resumed - Is it safe !?

My Win 11 machine is my Work/Citrix machine, so cannt experience any downtime..

Heard this update wil "fritz" machines utilizing any virtualization?

I'm happy to skip it for while, until properly fixed.

According to this page doesnt seem to be any large known issues:

Just pause updates for 7 days if you are worried. Then if there is a large issue the update will most likely get pulled.

But I don't think you would be affected. One issue only affects enterprise and the other is only if you have the N edition of windows or have the media features turned off. You can check and see if they are on before applying the update if you want.

Also if you're using a system that is important, make sure "Get the latest updates as soon as they are available" is turned off.

They pulled it because it was damaged, I’m guessing they wouldn’t make it available agin if it was still damaged.

I uninstalled it because I don’t like one of the new features.

Even if it's fixed now, it's only an optional Preview update. There are no security fixes in it, just some of the non-security fixes that will be released on Patch Tuesday (9th July). I wouldn't be installing previews on a work machine, just the Patch Tuesday ones.

Paranoia has already set in, so will clone "work machine nvme", to backup ssd, and take ssd offline.

Then may apply the update (out of hours), as I do prefer Windows machines to be fully updated.

If the update does cause, "World of hurt", then it will be, "Scotty, reverse thrust"...

As Bree already mentioned, it’s a “Preview” of the upcoming official update. That’s what a “Preview” is, it’s like a Beta.
And Bree is right, I wouldn’t install a preview to a work system either.

Official Updates are first Tuesday of each month “Patch Tuesday”
