It is basically a folding cell phone. Best buy wants $1499.00 and up and the pen is extra. They also have a Motorola Cell phone Unlocked that does the same thing and comes with a stylus with the same function as the Pen for $199.00. That is all that I need in Smart Phone. One would be better off not getting The Duo and get a Real Surface Product.⁉️

Profit is incentive to build the thing in the first instance. However the downside is that customers have to pay more for the same item, so the more profit a company tries to make, the more the customer is expected to pay - or miss out altogether.
The other problem with profit is that it is not always shared out fairly among those how put the item or service together, meaning many folk who work directly or indirectly for a product or service do not see any of the profit gained. It is usually shared among company executives, they then use it to prevent competitors building a similarly featured item.

Now we know why they pushed so hard Windows 11 and why is so rubbish on PC's. It's because most of their dev work was put into making all that fancy stuff for the surface gadgets. :D
