    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

I meant are you using both windows right now ? I used to do that on this PC , dual boot 11 and 10 for a while. Now it's W11, normal and Insider dev on one and W10 on a laptop.

Hello. I'm new to Windows 11 but definitely not new to Windows. I'm also not new to Windows forums. In fact, I recognize many of the "faces" here and some of you might even be familiar with me as well. At the time of typing this I have yet to put up my logos and set up my profile. Scannerman has been around on Windows forums for over two decades now. I'm still learning and sometimes I share what little I know. I build PCs. I repair PCs. I'm more of a hardware guy than a software guy. I'm in my 60's but I'm still raising three youngsters. Married life agrees with me. I've been installing Windows 11 on my family PCs and I'm getting ready to install Windows 11 on my Work Station although I am rather reluctant to do this as my Work Station is somewhat complex. 😕 Anyway, it's good to see so many familiar names here. Some of you really know your stuff and I know I can count on you folks for sound advice. Thank you for letting me be part of this forum.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro (and all my Hyper-V VMs).
