I have been using Process Lasso for some years now and really not sure if it does anything for my PC. I know about gaming and all that but I do not game.
I know it's used for controlling and optimizing the CPU and it's processes and was thinking it may help the PC's like mine that are not Win 11 supported.
I was just wondering if anyone uses it and any pro's or con's about it.
Thanks all for your comments.
I’m not a massive fan of Reddit but as I’d never heard of LASSO before, I went snooping and found a half decent thread there which explained a lot. Not just about gaming:

I looked through what the people had to say....interesting. Looks to me like I don't really need it. Seems like if you want to get anything out of it, you have to know how to adjust the settings and for what purposes.

Your CPU has a release date of 2016, mine 2013. I don’t believe I stress anything unless for the following mentioned, although I have never run a program that would inform me if I did. I suppose design/editing wise I do (Graphics, Music & Video) But I don’t think I’d use Lasso regardless.
I’f I was “trying” to run a modern game, which I can’t really, id consider it.
If you believe you stress all cores, then perhaps it’s beneficial (if you were able to learn how to set it up correctly)
If you don’t stress all cores… meh.

I've been using Process Lasso for maybe 20 years... Beta tester at the start of the adventure when x64 processors didn't exist...
It allows me to run multiple software at the same time without freezing (Streaming + Torrent + office + Audio) it allows me to create profiles for games without latency.... Over the years he has (the creator of Process Lasso ) optimized its software at each stage of the new INTEL and AMD processors...
Today Process Lasso runs on my laptop and my towers and I won't be able to do without it... Use without moderation...
8 Drives total: One 1TB M.2 SSD (for OS) Three internal Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD's , 4 Western Digital External removable drives , 3 @ 1TB each and 1 8TB
Just installing it and letting it run on defaults if I remember correctly is not really going to do a whole hell of a lot for you. But it's been years since I have downloaded and played with it.
If you want to give it try it wouldn't hurt , I just don't use it because I manage all my processes within windows , it has not use to me.

I never use tools like this or similar. Can anyone point to an independent review/analysis from a respective source that proves Process Lasso will make your PC faster/more efficient or anything else its developers claim it does?
