What devices do you have?

I have to add to my list of devices. I forgot about my two mini PCs. I'm using one to stream from and the other one I'm going to setup in my man cave (shed).

I knew a man who had 4-5 laptops, suddenly he sold them all as virgin windows laptops. A couple of weeks later the police took him away and he got 2 years nick. He was my forum techie; not any more he ain't!!!!

I have about 3 or 4 prepaid cellphones that are not being used anymore I plan to use most of them for random stuff. I have few cheap ones that had only costed me a few bucks I plan to turn them into different things. A music player a ebook reader and a podcast player and just some basic things. I have (3) tablets all (3) are pretty scratched up and not really worth much. So I plan to just use them as is and maybe turn the best of the (3) into a weather station and scanner tablet that can be mounted onto the wall in my computer room and used during storms and bad weather in general. I do have a only Window 8 desktop that I had upgraded all the way to 10. I have (2) laptops one I purchased used a few years ago which is running windows 10 and then my newest laptop running windows 11 purchased a little over a month ago. So I have some nice plans but still need to figure out what I need to do with my cellphones and my older desktop. I do have a every day use cellphone as well as a cellphone I use just for reading eBooks and online free manga. So I guess I actually have 5 or 6 cellphones. Do I need all the devices I have not really but there nice to have and to use. Plus I have (2) Alexa devices and a lenovo smart clock.

Interesting that poll assumes that everyone will have a smartphone.

A 12 year old Nokia 2230 serves me just fine and it is still going strong.

The human race has way too damn many devices anyway!!! :nope:

My Grandfather had to chop wood, to build a fire, to boil water, to have a hot bath, and they got more done in one day than most of us do in a week with our fancy fecking devices!!! :dizzy:

I have 2 laptops, one running 10 and the one I use most running 11. I also have an iPhone 7 Plus and 4 Kindle tablets. When hubby was alive there were a lot more in the house, we each had a desktop and 2 laptops but his phone was just a basic flip phone that could make and receive calls plus text.

Here is my updated list. I'm going to include all devices I use plus what my wife and son uses. I have two PowerSpec desktops that I use almost daily. Two Mini PCs. One I use to run the Mezzmo Media Streamer and the other as my PC when I'm outside in my Man Cave. One Roku Box connected to our main TV and one Roku TV plus my Galaxy S22+ phone. My wife has one laptop. Our son has his desktop computer, Roku Soundbar and his Iphone. I also have a Bose sound bar connected to my main TV. I do occasionally use the Bluetooth on my desktop to stream my Spotify/SiriuxXm to the Bose soundbar.

I wonder, if someone already has a laptop, why does he/she needs a tablet (or vice versa) They are of course different devices, but they are also very similar (especially W11 laptops)

Having 2 desktops is not the same thing, you can't carry your desktops with you.

To be honest...,
my Laptop doesn't go anywhere, too often, anymore..., I used it quite extensively for church livestream content feed/monitoring, when we were on full lockdown, but not anymore.
Besides, the Laptop has Windows 11 on it so, it's pretty much wrecked!!!

My Tablet is still loaded with all church liturgy..., it's efficiently more portable..., the Laptop now has too much junk attached to it!
