Just finished off the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk. Man, what a game!!! Great story. And definitely replay material.

Add there are some beautiful areas there as well.

Im about 5hrs into my second playthrough, Read the best time to start the dlc is at start of act 3

That's where I started, but looking back now, maybe after the Voodoo Boys Transmission quest (that's actually where you get contacted about the Dogtown quest), and before meeting Honoko and getting the Nocturne Op55N1 (Meet Honoko at Embers) quest.

That said, still not sure though as I've not started Act 3 so no idea how everything fits together with respect to the overall story and best "game" ending. Won't know that until I finish the game. I only completed the DLC, so....

There are a couple of DLC endings. At least one ends the game. I can't remember how it all works, though. All I know is that it's a great expansion pack!

Yeah, I know that because I played them out

It's not a fast game, you can leave a tab with the game open while you're doing other things, and just check in on the game every now and then.

Oooh i didn't know i could end the game via the phantom liberty dlc, even if i haven't finished the main.

I read somewhere the cdpr recommends starting just as you unlock the Nocturne Op55N1 mission so ima aim for that and see whats what.
Already finished the main game when it initially came out so unsure if im gonna do it all again or not. See how i feel i guess!

I enjoy a game i can leave open and play amongst doing other things. Watching netflix etc, That game has been the yearly edition of Football Manager religiously for the last 10 years or so

Played it prior to that but not as my netflix watching game xD

Well, I tried "Vindictus" today. It's a free to play MMORPG.
My motivation? Most of the game's heroes are babes in skimpy armor.

This character's name is Charon...

I was on a hunt for older stuff and between this and the one @Ghot referenced I was pleasantly surprised.

Phantom Liberty is def fun, Starfield was a nice distraction and its def gonna be interesting to see where Star Citizen ends up..

If I'm gonna play some video game for days and days and days... I might as well have something decent to look at.

I mean, all the characters are cartoons.

Back in the day, I played KAROS Online.... this was my character, before and after... armor...

And with all the bells and whistles armor...

I played Diablo II for 14 years... started out with a Barb tank... but that got boring.
I ended up with a level 98 (out of 99), Javazon, with all perf gear and charms.
She could even kill a Hammerdin with one poke.

Here's my Javazon... Arc_Light in channel...

I already have the Baldur's Gate games and the Icewind Dale games.
And...

Planescape Torment, Unreal, NOX, Revenant, Doom 1 & 2 with all the Master levels, 4x4 EVO 1 & 2,
Tower of Time (fairly new), Arcanum, Blades of Time (new), MS Links 2003, Zelda (original but for PC),
and a bunch more... mostly older games.

And no.... the newer stuff is... eh.
Or... the "controls" on the newer stuff aren't well thought out.
Also, the "stacked moves" in a lot of the newer games, are ridiculous.

The new baldurs gate wipes the floor with Any of the diablos/previous baldurs gate, Played em all!
Ah you can say more elaborate/in depth and too complex. Its ok :) Not everyone can play more modern games, Controls got easier if anything.

Well to be honest, I've not looked into the new Baldur's Gate, I don't think.
I just looked at a review and I remember why I skipped Baldur's gate 3.
It costs more than the others but only has about 1/4th of the gameplay hours.
The old Baldur's gates were over 800 hours gameplay. The new ones are like 120-130 hours gameplay. :/
And worst of all... it's made by a different team.
Once you've played Bioware and Wizards of the Coast games.... you never go back.

Diablo III was a total loss, and Diablo IV, is just Diablo II with the good characters dumbed down and the graphics contrast turned down.

When you get to be an old fart and have come up through the golden age of computer games... ya get more picky, I think.

Baldur's Gate 3 has about 150 hours, but since there are over 14000 possible endings the replayibility is off the charts

The old ones were much longer and also had incredible replay-ability.
It's like comparing a Mustang today to a Mustang from the 60's. There's just no comparison.
The "only" way to improve a '67 Mustang would be to put modern brakes on them.
