What Games Are You Playing?

According to a post on X user Odahfield (@Odah_SFA), Starfield is rumored to be getting a “code-changing” update this year that “no one expected”. While these details are far from official and only exist due to rumors, it's still worth speculating on what a “code-changing” update could bring to Starfield , although the term could mean anything.
A major update to Starfield in 2025 is rumored to have the potential to overhaul the space gameplay, making it more dynamic and less predictable.
The update could rework Starfield's economy to give players more depth and opportunities to progress financially.
Bethesda's “code-changing” update could fundamentally change loading screens, artificial intelligence behavior, and the overall experience of the game.

It would be nice to see ongoing support to be honest, and any additions or fixes would be very welcomed. Overall it's a good game but with some mods it becomes so much better.
As for graphics, it's very underwhelming how it performs and it would definitely benefit from optimising and improving these. I'm on a 4090 and at times i get framedrops inexplicably.

3080 Ti here, but yeah, same. Mostly when I come out of interacting with the world (regional) map and every once in a while, when I grab something to my inventory.

Thus far, all I've seen are multiple stories referencing a single tweet on X by a user who flat out admits it is a rumor at this point. I'd certainly like to see game mechanics fixed, including the ability to customize ships more easily and especially see them organize the weaponry menu listing into groups instead of the way it currently is, a huge mess that you don't realize is actually a categorization of sorts but completely confusing.

Like what with what "mods"?
Apologies i missed this, the cut content from the legendary edition that was in the original games can be added in via mods, have a look on nexus mods should be on there

To be fair its a bethesda game, they always look 5 years older than most other games in the aaa category and cost more than most things at time of release to run. Typical buggy bethesda

You're NOT missing anything from the minor stuff they removed, and it has ZERO impact on the game, other than streamlining and fixing bugs. If you feel you're being cheated, just play the individual games. And when you compare to the Legendary Edition, you'd be hard pressed to notice the removed content.

This from someone who's only played all the game multiple times with all the DLC. Also played the Legendary Edition a few times. Mass Effect in one of my favorite games of all times, as I simply love its story.

Don't get me wrong, I like the game and have been enjoying it quite a bit. It's just unfortunate for such a title though to be rid of so many annoying bugs that could have been easily ironewd out even before it was launched. Proof of this is how fast the community/modders sorted many out, even without official mod support.

Anyway, I personaly use a handfull of mods, especially the HD mod that significantly improves the visual wuality and some QOL bits too.

Add me to the list for ME5, especially as Starfield is still not as much fun in certain aspects.

The vehicular drivability is absolutely horrid, for one thing.

Decided to finally play the Tomb Raider Reboot, previously completed Tomb Raider 2023, now onto Rise of the Tomb Raider. Good games, but the vast difference in character models between the game is a bit off putting and breaks the emersion. Really odd that they did this.

I decided to play Resident Evil series in chronological order, even though I had completed 2,3 on PlayStation1 and 5 on PC .....it's a good thing that the old ones got remakes.

The last one I played was just called Tomb Raider from 2013. I hadn't played any of these titles since the PS1 days.

While it looked fantastic, It felt more like a movie with some game play sprinkled in. My enthusiasm waned a few hours in to it. Maybe I'll try it again one of these days.

They are good games, some annoying puzzles though.
