What happen to the progress indicator in the taskbar

In Win10 when something is installed,downloaded,in the taskbar I could see the progress with a green color but now on Win11,there is nothing
Do have to enable something or MS thought that it's a "good" idea to remove that feature in win11

It's still there in Windows 11, maybe a little less prominent though.



Open apps are underlined on the taskbar. The smaller centered underscore (almost a dot, really) indicates an app that's running but it's not the one selected at the moment, or that it is minimised. The larger line shows the app you are currently using and have its window on the screen. In the example above I have File Explorer and Edge open, but I'm typing this in Firefox. The Store and Notepad are pinned to the taskbar, but not running.

When you start a download in any browser, or a file copy in Explorer, that underscore becomes the progress bar. The colour of the underscore is set by the Accent colour in Personalisation > Colours. You may want to adjust yours to make it more visible.
