And now we have heard the velvet, dulcet tones of Edwin's voice! Cool!![]()
Please explain. My middle button is a wheel for scrolling and appears to have no built in click-usage. I programmed it with a third party program X-mouse to be "delete".Guess I've been doing drag and drop wrong for the last 30 years, always thought one had to press down on the left mouse button to do it. But then many folks probably don't know why the wheel also has a click feature, third button, depending upon the program.
The use of the 3-button mouse goes back to the early '90s and maybe earlier with engineers and architects using it to lock a line they had drawn in programs like AutoCad then start an attached line in a different direction. More modern Windows and other OSes use the click of the wheel to allow just moving the mouse to scroll up or down, it works in many programs. Please explain. That's utterly pointless. Far easier just to turn the wheel. The use of the 3-button mouse goes back to the early '90s and maybe earlier with engineers and architects using it to lock a line they had drawn in programs like AutoCad then start an attached line in a different direction. Pointless? Not if you've been around as long as some of us. The scroll wheel was introduced with the Microsoft Intellimouse in 1996.That's utterly pointless. Far easier just to turn the wheel.
But you said something about using the middle button for drag and drop.
We can beat that dead horse til the cows come home and never have an answer. For the sake of my sanity and blood pressure, I've strived to accept it and go on.What I want to know is why Microsoft never listens
Pay attention at the back. I didn't say the wheel was pointless, I said pressing it to scroll is pointless, that's why it rotates.Pointless? Not if you've been around as long as some of us. The scroll wheel was introduced with the Microsoft Intellimouse in 1996.
Not possible. If your neighbour has a loud dog and the law won't stop him, you shoot it.We can beat that dead horse til the cows come home and never have an answer. For the sake of my sanity and blood pressure, I've strived to accept it and go on.
I'm not sure what's driving me more nuts..., the anomaly itself or the determination to find a resolve!!!You could cut the tension with a knife.![]()
@Edwin baritone voice has a lot going on... so smooth and soothing,he lulled me to sleep. And now we have heard the velvet, dulcet tones of Edwin's voice! Cool!![]()
That happens quite often, with me and women!!!... he lulled me to sleep.
You got to understand I'm old. 30 years ago I would have added sexy sounding to those adjectives, but, alas, I'm way past that now. That happens quite often, with me and women!!!
Meh..., we can always dream......You got to understand I'm old. 30 years ago I would have added sexy sounding to those adjectives, but, alas, I'm way past that now.![]()
