This process seems to take ages. It does work of course.
Any idea why it takes ages to do even with good hardware, dual physical processors and a 64GB RAM machine.
I can boot with a Linux live distro and just delete the file -- then boot into Windows and I don't seem to have any problems.
But as Windows users here on a Windows Forum I'd love to know why this process takes so long on Windows. Even if I boot the Linux live distro up from a low specc'ed machine and remotely delete the file it deletes instantly and there's no problem again in booting up the Windows system on that Windows machine again.
