Why uninstaller does not remove all?

I installed DoubleCad XT on my computer. Later I noticed it is not proper for me an I uninstalled it via control panel. The uninstall process did not remove all, there are folders and files in the Program files 86 folder. Windows prevent to remove them, even though sign in as adminstator. What should I do?

Re-install DoubleCad XT, then use REVO Uninstaller free to uninstall it.
Make sure to... "scan for leftovers" and delete all those as well.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
Install the program again and remove it using REVO Uninstaller Free.
You can remove all registry entries and folders after removing the program with that app.

You can run CCleaner to remove an orphan entry where the installer is FUBAR'ED. Click remove and its gone. Close your installed programs folder and open it again. That entry should no longer be there.

Many applications do not clean uninstall, especially AV programs. Using an uninstaller like Revo or IOBit Uninstaller Free cleans up all the stuff the program's uninstaller leaves behind. I've used Revo Free to uninstall everything for over 15 years. I finally broke down and bought the professional version last year. TBH, I can't see it's any better than the free verision.

I find with the Pro version, you can monitor progam installations in the Pro version. I couldn't find a way to do that in the free version. Otherwise, not any differences between the free version and the pro version except I get more frequent updates on the Pro version.

Revo should work as recommended above. Failure to properly uninstall software is simply poor software engineering.
