win 11 repair install query

I installed win11 via rufus and iso. But it is on an incompatible laptop. Everything went ok,
But my question is ........ What is the best way to do a win11 repair install and because it was not compatible originally will I lose the installed progs and apps which I had to install from scratch on the win 11 update ?

I've run upgrade installs on my incompatible laptop.

I did repair install a couple of times on win 10.
