Hi team,

But windows 11 not. windows 11 showing up in WSUS server. Today I released windows 11 patch KB5043076, KB890830(V 127) but in windows 11 client machine showing some time "no updates", sometimes error code 80244022. I have attached windows update log file. Tried all basic troubleshooting. May I get resolution for this issue?

Have you tried this?

Rename the software distribution folders as instructed below:
1. Open Start and type cmd, right-click on "Command Prompt", and select "Run as administrator".
2. Run the following commands at the Command Prompt one at a time:

net stop bits
net stop wuauserv
net stop cryptsvc
ren %systemroot%\softwaredistribution softwaredistribution.bak
ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
net start bits
net start wuauserv
net start cryptsvc

3. After all these commands are completed, close the Command Prompt window, restart your computer, and then try to update Windows.

If it persists, use the system file checker to repair possible corrupted or missing system files.
1. Open Start and type cmd, right-click on "Command Prompt", and select "Run as administrator".
2. Run the following commands at the Command Prompt one at a time:

dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
sfc /scannow

3. Then restart your PC and see if you can update.

If it persists, download and install the update that is having problems manually.

Hi ,
Tried all steps that you mentioned, but issue persists. I dont want to do manual update, because this is testing to check that window 11 getting updates from WSUS server. Have you check log files?

Have you checked that all the WSUS services are running correctly? It looks like they've stopped which is causing the client to fail to connect.

You can also perform in-place upgrade of Windows 11. In-place upgrade is to use to replace the current operating system files on your computer. Unlike a clean installation of Windows, you can start a Windows in-place upgrade when your OS is still running. And an in-place upgrade can keep your files, settings, & apps during the upgrade process. You can perform a Windows 11 in-place upgrade is to use the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool. Make sure to select Upgrade this PC now and click Next. Follow the on-screen guide to perform a Windows 11 in-place upgrade.

How does that resolve the issue with the client machine not being able to receive updates from their WSUS server?
Because repair-install can repair errors including Windows Update so download the newest version of Windows 11from Microsoft and perform in-place upgrade.
