Windows 11 Moment 4 update.


Very strange how it seems to differ around the world indeed. I'm in South Africa. My laptop (specs in my info) has Windows Configuration Update (KB5030509) installed and I have Dev Home but not Co-Pilot. My two laptops at work (same specs as mine) also have Windows Configuration Update (KB5030509) installed and both have Dev Home and Co-Pilot. Same location, same area but different features activated lol. Not really bothered with Co-pilot though.

Depends on what you mean by customize. We all customize the OS to some degree. If you mean actually changing OS code I'd say no. But there's no telling what a software package might do. Regardless, I never had any problems with Updates.

As in run programs that significantly alter facets of windows, like StartAllBack, Explorer Patcher, etc.

Nothing like those. I suppose I could disable some of my startup programs and see if that helps.

Perhaps, but unless they are customizinbg Windows in some ways, probably not - as I had Copilot and the other new features on my desktop without disabling anything.

I did go back and remove Copilot and the search bar from the taskbar, but I have them available.
